Remote Sites

Salesforce requires that any callout to an external site must first be authorized by adding the URL of the external site as a Remote Site in Salesforce.  In addition, if the external callout is done through the OrchestraCMS RestProxy, the URL for the external site must also be added as a Site under Remote Sites within the OrchestraCMS Setup.

To add an external URL as a remote site within OrchestraCMS:

1. Navigate to OrchestraCMS Setup | Remote Sites
2. Click Add Site
3. Provide a name and URL for the external site
4. Mark the remote site as Active
5. Save the changes

Callouts made to external sites or services where no remote site has been added will fail.
