Favicons

Favicons are icons that appear on the title bar of a browser, on tabs within a browser, or as the icon used within a bookmark list. Salesforce provides the ability to select an icon (saved as a static resource) for a site or community that will be used for the favicon. This method may not work if your site is an intranet or is not a root domain site.

Stantive's recommended approach is to call the favicon using a line in the page template itself. For example:
